MDN Studios uses a 3rd party fulfillment company to create and deliver prints.  The following are darkroom.com's policies:

Are print sizes displayed in inches or centimeters?

All print sizes on Darkroom are currently displayed in inches! We will have a toggle for customers to choose between in/cm in the future but we only use inches as our print houses are all US based. We do want to display sizes in centimeters in the future but we will likely not have international print houses doing the manufacturing

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Darkroom holds no inventory and is a print on demand service, meaning every print is custom made on a per order basis. Once checkout is complete, the money from the order is used to purchase the cost of the print from the print houses we work with and automatically deposits profits into a creator's account. For this reason, order modifications or cancelations can be difficult if not done within a couple hours of your order and we cannot guarantee refunds or cancellations after an order is placed.

 

If you want to make a modification to your order or cancel it, we usually have a small window of time on the same day of the order but cannot guarantee the edit/cancelation. Most prints will be sent into production quite quickly!

 

I submitted an incorrect address

If you accidentally inputed the incorrect shipping address, check your order confirmation email from Darkroom to access your 'order details' page to edit it or contact us directly at support@darkroom.tech asap.

 

If the print has not been sent into production, we’ll be able to edit the shipping information. On average, this time window is around 12 hours after submitting your order.

 

If the print is already being produced at the print house or has already completed production, it becomes difficult for our print house to take quick action. We will try our best to update your address in these cases and will hopefully catch the package before it is handed off to the courier.

 

I received damaged or incorrect prints

If a courier services has damaged your prints or our print houses have made a misprint please email support@darkroom.tech with:

  • an image of your damaged/incorrect prints +

  • an image of any damaged packaging

  • and your order number

We will issue you a reprint on us as soon as we get these!

 

 

 

 

How are prints packaged for shipment?

The print houses we work with have been packaging and shipping out fine art for decades. We ship in a variety of different formats including protected tubing for some paper prints, reinforced cardboard, print sleeves to protect from dust or dirt and even ship large format prints in wood enforced crates due to fragility.

 

When packaging prints our print houses will use a variety of the above methods depending on what combination of prints are in the order. All prints will be covered and protected before being shipped. With that said, couriers can be negligent with packages and if a print is damaged from being thrown during or upon delivery, please contact us and we will send out a replacement!

 

 

 

What are your production times?

Estimated production times are always in business days and do not include shipping times. Any rushed shipping time will take place AFTER a print finishes production. Darkroom does not hold any inventory and thus all prints are made on demand.

Where is my order?

You should have received an order confirmation email after completing your order and will receive a shipping confirmation email once the item has left the print house. If you have not been sent a shipping confirmation email, your print is likely still in production. If you have waited longer than the expected production times for your print, please contact us at support@darkroom.tech.
